SD430 & Adapter for Direct Wireless Printing

Good news! Canon has created a unique camera for remote-shooting fans. Taking pictures without a doubt, when done well, can give you pleasure and satisfaction. The Canon Powershot SD430, with all its wonderful features, will make this process even more exciting and will help you improve your photography experience.

The most distinctive aspect of this digital camera is its impressive remote control capabilities. The Canon Powershot SD430 can not only transfer pictures automatically but can also be controlled in almost any way using a Wi-Fi-enabled computer, from initial shooting parameters to final transfer. You can remotely control zoom, image size and compression level, ISO speed, white balance, color mode, metering mode, macro mode, flash mode, focus point, and auto focus type.

Clearly, the most attractive feature on the Canon Powershot SD430 is its built-in 802.11b wireless transmitter. After you set it up for computer control (which is really easy), then you can transmit photos wirelessly to your Windows PC, either as they are shot, or later in playback mode. Canon’s RemoteCapture software allows you to control the camera right from your PC. In addition, the supplied Wireless Printer Adapter connects into any PictBridge-enabled photo printer. Just press the blue lit Print/Share button on the back of the camera. Seconds later, the image is sent remotely to the printer and in about one minute, you get a photo-lab quality print.

The Canon Powershot SD430 also features Canon’s exclusive Intelligent Orientation Sensor/9-point AiAF auto focus system that allows the camera to automatically detect vertical or horizontal direction and accurately detect and focus on subjects within the 9-point focusing frame.

This camera prints pictures wirelessly and easily on many different brands of PictBridge printers such as Kodak’s EasyShare printer dock plus series 3. The wireless print adapter (included) has a USB plug that fits into a PictBridge socket on any printer. With the Canon SD430 you don’t need a configuration to print. It’s already preconfigured to recognize the print adapter included with the camera.

This digital camera combines superior image quality and performance with the freedom and flexibility of wireless technology. It’s a neat all-around camera and it’s also a good second camera choice for enthusiasts who don’t want to drag along a full size camera. It’s one of the better subcompact cameras in the market today. If you get excited about a wireless remote control option, then you’d be wise to give the Canon PowerShot SD430 a try.
